Description / Scope of Work
The Bank of Punjab, Lahore, invites bids from qualified contractors for renovation and construction work at its Chak Beli Khan branch in Rawalpindi, Punjab. The project is valued at Rs. 13,802,852 and falls under the ABEP (Asset Building & Enhancement Programme) initiative. The bidding follows the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules under a single-stage, two-envelope procedure. Work completion is required within 45 days of purchase order issuance. Bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and will be evaluated for technical compliance and financial proposals separately.
Bidders must submit a bid security of 2% of the estimated cost (Rs. 276,057) through bank guarantee or 1-Link digital payment, generated via PSID Number, in favor of The Bank of Punjab. All bids must comply fully with the bidding documents; alternative bids are not accepted. Eligible contractors should possess relevant PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration for civil/construction works and valid NTN (National Tax Number). Prices must be quoted in Pakistani Rupees and include all applicable taxes including GST and income tax; bids without taxes shall be rejected as non-responsive.
Bid documents are available free of charge from the PPRA website and Punjab e-Procurement Portal. Bids must be uploaded by 11:00 AM on 15 September 2026, with technical bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bid validity is 90 days from the closing date.
