Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), located in Islamabad, invites sealed bids from reputed firms and contractors for a Close Framework Agreement lasting one year to supply computer and IT parts and accessories. This framework agreement procurement is open to firms registered with the income tax and sales tax departments of Pakistan. The scope covers the provision of various computer components and IT accessories as required by the institute during the contract period. PIDE is a premier research institution under Quaid-i-Azam University and seeks to establish a reliable supplier relationship for its ongoing IT infrastructure and maintenance needs.
Eligible bidders must be registered with income tax and sales tax authorities and are required to submit a bid security of Rs. 20,000 in the form of a call deposit receipt made payable to PIDE, Islamabad. Interested firms must also provide evidence that they have not been blacklisted by any organization or establishment. Bidders are expected to submit previous reputation and work completion certificates demonstrating experience in the relevant field. The procurement process follows Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules and procedures.
Technical and financial proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes on or before September 14, 2026 by 11:00 hours at the office of the Chairman Purchase Committee, PIDE, Quaid-i-Azam University Campus, P.O. Box 1091, Islamabad. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:30 am in the presence of vendors.
