For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Annual medical equipment procurement for two Punjab-based cardiac facilities totalling an unspecified value.
The bidding structure is lot-wise with 2% bid security required per lot. A pre-bid meeting precedes opening, indicating a complex or high-value tender. Revised technical specifications suggest prior retendering or scope amendment. The 180-day bid validity and e-procurement-only submission indicate a formal, standardised process. Tight timeline from pre-bid (01-09-2026) to bid closure (08-09-2026) leaves limited clarification opportunity.
Who can bid: Typically, medical equipment suppliers must be registered with SECP (if a company) or hold a valid NTN. Tenderers should possess relevant sales tax registrations and experience in healthcare equipment supply. The notice does not explicitly state PEC registration or manufacturer certification requirements, but suppliers are expected to meet technical specifications in the revised bidding documents.
