Description / Scope of Work
The Police Department, Government of Punjab, through its Battalion No.4 office in Faisalabad, invites sealed bids for ten separate framework contracts covering miscellaneous store items and services for the financial year 2026-27 (until 30 June 2027). The procurement includes office stationery (PKR 0.8 million), computer stationery items (PKR 0.7 million), miscellaneous store items (PKR 1.2 million), police vehicle repair, tyres, tubes, batteries and spare parts (PKR 8.0 million), residential and other building works (PKR 3.0 million), machinery and equipment repair and office furniture maintenance (PKR 1.3 million), furniture and fixtures (PKR 0.8 million), software (PKR 0.5 million), printing articles (PKR 0.7 million), and uniform and protective clothing (PKR 1.5 million). Total estimated value across all lots exceeds PKR 18 million. The procurement is conducted on FOR (Free on Rail) basis under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed, financially sound firms with previous experience in their respective categories. Registration is mandatory with the Punjab e-procurement System and with Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax Departments. Bidders must not be barred, disqualified, or blacklisted by any government department or authority. A performance certificate on stamp paper (Rs. 1,200) certifying the firm is not a defaulter and has no criminal convictions is required. Bidders must furnish bid security equal to 2 percent of the estimated price of each lot in the form of CDR, Demand Draft, or Banker's Cheque from a scheduled bank of Pakistan, or through PSID generated by the Punjab e-procurement System.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the Punjab e-procurement System and the PPRA website (http://ppra.Punjab.gov.pk), as well as from the Procurement Officer at Battalion No.4, PC, Faisalabad. Sealed bids must be deposited in the tender box at Battalion No.4 office, Faisalabad, on 14 September 2026 before 11:00 a.m., with bidders signing an attendance register. Bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 a.m. in the presence of bidders' representatives. All rates are inclusive of GST/PST and valid until 30 June 2027.
