Description / Scope of Work
WASA Chakwal invites sealed bids for the construction of a Drain Type-II infrastructure project in Aazmi Town Main Street, Chakwal City, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 14,30,690. This procurement is conducted through the E-P System portal in accordance with the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure outlined in the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The project is open to all eligible contractors registered on E-PADS for the financial year 2026-27 covering the period from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026, serving District Chakwal, Talagang, and associated areas.
Eligible bidders must be registered on E-PADS and submit sealed bids through the E-P System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/) accompanied by a bid security of Rs. 71,534 (5% of estimated cost) from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of WASA Chakwal. Bidders whose quoted rates are equal to or less than 5% below the estimated cost must deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% of the total tendered amount within 15 days of notice issuance. Bids must be item-wise, clearly readable, complete and unambiguous; conditional, non-responsive, corrupted or unsigned bids will be rejected. Submission of fake or forged documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting from WASA Chakwal.
Bid documents are available free of charge on the E-P System portal and PPRA Punjab website. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM PST on 16 September 2026 and will be opened at 11:30 AM PST the same day at the WASA Chakwal office in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Upon acceptance, the successful contractor must execute an agreement on Government-specified stamp paper within seven days for issuance of the Work Order.
