Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Ahmedpur East invites sealed bids through the ePADS portal (https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/) for the provision and fixing of RCC manhole cover with frame in Ahmedpur East, Punjab. The estimated contract value is Rs. 3,000,000 and the work shall be conducted under the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as per the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bidders must be enlisted and renewed for the current financial year 2026-27 with the Pakistan Engineering Council. The tender is open to all eligible contractors meeting prescribed criteria.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council license with appropriate codes and their names must be enlisted and renewed for the financial year 2026-27. Bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of a CDR or Pay Order from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Ahmedpur East. The earnest money requirement is Rs. 150,000. Contractors quoting lowest tender rates below the estimated cost must deposit additional performance security equal to the lowest percentage of estimated cost within 15 days of issuance of notice.
Bid documents are available for free download from the PPRA website and ePADS portal without any fee as per section 25(7) of the PPRA rules 2014 amended on 20-09-2024. Sealed bids must be submitted on ePADS from the date of publication until 15-09-2026 at 1:30 PM. All received bids shall be opened on the same date at 1:30 PM in the office of the Municipal Committee Ahmedpur East by the tender opening committee in the presence of available contractors. Bid rates must be quoted both in numbers and words on a percentage basis item rate basis above or below the estimate.
