Group life insurance procurement for a provincial bank's workforce, requiring rating 'A' minimum and full tax compliance.
Annual contract likely recurring. Strong emphasis on documentation, bid security, and regulatory compliance suggests established procurement discipline. Tight pre-bid schedule (9 Sept meeting, 17 Sept closing) indicates formal evaluation process. Market is restricted to rated insurers, reducing direct competition but signalling institutional-grade coverage expectations.
Who can bid: Firms must be income tax and sales tax registered with valid NTN, listed as active taxpayers by FBR/CBR, hold minimum rating 'A', and furnish affidavit of non-blacklist status. Insurance companies must typically hold regulatory approval from the State Bank or Insurance Regulatory Authority of Pakistan.
