For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
KMU is seeking three distinct procurements: janitorial service provision and equipment purchases at two medical institute branches.
The janitorial contract requires only basic tax and regulatory registration. Equipment scope is unspecified in this summary notice, suggesting modular or staged procurement. All participants must be E-PADS registered, limiting competition to digitally equipped vendors. Bid security at 2% for equipment is relatively modest. The tight pre-bid window (7–9 September) before 16 September closing suggests KMU intends rapid execution; contractors unfamiliar with KMU's campus or the two campuses in D I Khan and Peshawar should attend the pre-bid meeting.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on E-PADS and duly registered with KPRA or S.No.1, hold active tax payer status (FBR and KPRA registration), and be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Sales Tax and Excise & Taxation Department. Only established parties, contractors and firms meeting these criteria are eligible. Foreign entities are not explicitly mentioned; typically, Pakistani-registered entities are preferred.
