Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites pre-qualification applications from experienced contractors for nine separate civil works contracts at the Artillery Ammunition Factory in Wah Cantt, Punjab. The works include rehabilitation of toilet blocks in shops A-50 and C-12, repair and cleaning of sewerage lines and manholes, term contracts for painting and distempering services, periodical office maintenance, building repair and minor works, roof treatment, upgradation of GM-MAA office, and repair of approach road tuff pavers. Each contract is valued at approximately Rs. 1.00 million including contractor percentage at MES Schedule of Rates 2025. Applicants must submit pre-qualification documentation by 22 September 2026 at 11:00 hours to the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabta Hall; offers will be opened at 11:30 hours the same day.
Eligible contractors must demonstrate relevant experience, current capability and financial strength through bank statements of the last two years, details of existing bank guarantees and credit facilities, fixed and immovable assets with costs, current works in progress, and a list of qualified staff and equipment. Applicants must provide filer status with FBR and NTN number, certificates of income tax and professional tax payment, affiliation or registration certificates with MES, PEC, SECP or similar professional engineering bodies, and disclose any litigation with MES or the Government. Those submitting applications for specialized jobs must also identify affiliated sub-contractors.
Bidders should obtain tender documents and detailed specifications from POF Wah Cantt and submit applications to the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabta Hall on or before the stated deadline. Separate applications may be submitted for each of the nine works. Incomplete or non-compliant applications lacking any of the required documents will result in automatic disqualification.
