Seven framework contracts for reagent-based laboratory analysers represent medium-scale procurement by a provincial health institution.
Estimated values range Rs. 4–30 lakhs per item, suggesting supplier or distributor capacity in diagnostic equipment. This is a recurring annual contract structure, indicating stable demand. Tight 10-day bid preparation window and mandatory physical deposit of bid security at hospital premises require advance logistics planning. Pre-bid meeting on 11 September is essential for technical clarification on equipment specifications and reagent supply obligations.
Who can bid: Bidders must register on e-procurement portal and hold current sales tax and NTN registration. Typically, medical equipment suppliers should hold relevant product authorization or agency letters from manufacturers, and demonstrate past experience with hospital reagent supply contracts. PEC registration is not explicitly required; however, firms in pharmaceutical/medical supplies categories would typically need compliance with regulatory standards and quality certifications for laboratory equipment.
