Description / Scope of Work
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) in Karachi, Sindh, invites sealed tenders for the procurement of critical medical equipment and hospital upgradation projects. The scope of work includes the provision of a C-Arm machine for the Orthopedic Operation Theater at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, as well as the upgradation of the Labor Room at Sobhraj Maternity Hospital. This upgradation features the supply of suction machines, delivery beds, vacuum machines, baby warmers, and ECO monitors. Additionally, the tender covers the installation of a 02-Bed HDU unit at Sobhraj Maternity Hospital, including ECHO port machinery, diathermy machines, and essential monitor points. Each of the three main lots has an estimated cost of 20.00 Million PKR. Reputable firms with experience in medical equipment supply and hospital infrastructure are invited to participate. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the SPPRA website or obtained from the KMC office, with a required tender fee of Rs. 5,000 per document and 5% bid security. All technical and financial bids must be submitted by the closing date of 12 May 2026."
