Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) invites quotations for the supply of indigenous materials and equipment through tender enquiry POF 1262-A, reference 0001/LP/DS/56. The procurement covers various items to be delivered to POF's facilities at Wah Cantt, Punjab. Suppliers are invited to submit quotations electronically via the e-bidding portal at www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk. The tender follows single-stage two-envelope methodology under PPRA Rule 36(b) for open competitive bidding. For materials, prices must be quoted in column 5 with delivery dates in column 7 of the tender schedule. For plant and machinery, suppliers must submit Part I (technical offer with specifications, delivery schedule, and validity period) and Part II (commercial offer with pricing and payment terms) separately. Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from the commercial tender opening date and should hold good for any quantity variations without notice.
Eligibility criteria require suppliers to submit bid security as a copy of deposit at call receipt, pay order, or banker cheque from a scheduled bank in favour of Director Services. Registered and indexed firms must provide 2% of quoted value (maximum Rs 0.5 million), registered unindexed firms 3% (maximum Rs 0.75 million), and unregistered firms 5% (maximum Rs 1.0 million). Government organisations and state-owned enterprises may request waiver of bid security. All offers must be accompanied by a tender fee of Rs 500 via crossed postal order or pay order in favour of Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt. Suppliers must furnish a certificate from the Excise and Taxation Department confirming clearance of all professional tax payable. Conditional or alternative offers will be ignored. Inspection and acceptance of supplies will be conducted by the purchaser's competent inspection authority at the supplier's cost.
Quotations must be submitted electronically before 30 minutes of the opening time on 07-October-2026 at 11:30 hours at the Bid Center adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. Successful bidders will be required to provide a performance bond not exceeding 1.0% of contract value.
