Jinnah Institute of Cardiology, Lahore invites applications for fresh and new vendor registration to supply drugs, medicines, surgical disposables, and medicinal devices on a day-to-day basis through the online automated Local Purchase on Day to Day (LPDD) system via the PITB portal for the financial year 2026-27, valid until 30 September 2027. The procurement covers national, multinational, and imported pharmaceutical and medical products required for hospital patient care in Lahore, Punjab. Vendors will be selected and registered through an online e-procurement process managed by the Tender Opening Committee at the Hospital Director's office.
Eligibility requirements stipulate that bidders must hold a valid retail Drug Sales License issued on Form 9 by the licensing authority, demonstrate financial soundness through supporting documents, and provide an undertaking confirming non-blacklisting by the procuring agency and PPRA. The registered pharmacy facility must be located within 10 kilometres radius of the hospital for operational convenience. Bidders must provide attested copies of the valid Drug Sales License, National Identity Card, and active Income Tax Certificate, and must maintain adequate inventory and comprehensive storage facilities to ensure round-the-clock drug availability as determined by the hospital committee and end users. A Performance Security or Guarantee of 1 percent must be submitted and will be returned upon satisfactory performance after the registration period.
Applications must be submitted on the E-Procurement platform addressed to the Hospital Director on or before the date and time specified in the advertisement, with documents properly page-marked, sequenced according to registration criteria, and signed and stamped by authorised persons on each page. The tender opening will be conducted online via EPADS according to the advertised schedule, and documents are available for download from E-Procurement and PPRA websites. The registration and all supplies shall comply with the Public Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and guidelines issued by the Strategic Management and Internal Policy Unit, SHC&ME Department. The Hospital Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning reasons, and his decision in any dispute shall be final.
