The Headquarters Special Communications Organization (SCO) in Gilgit, Federal Government invites sealed tenders for the retrieval of LT and T&T poles from JSR/KKH and the subsequent shifting of Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) onto LT poles along the Karakoram Highway (KKH). The project scope also includes the professional installation of LT/T&T poles at Shigar and Hudor to enhance telecommunication infrastructure in the region. Work will be centered at Jutial, Gilgit, and requires specialized handling of communication poles and fiber optic cabling. Interested contractors can obtain detailed terms and conditions from the SCO Sector Headquarters in Jutial or via their official website. This short tender notice is aimed at experienced service providers capable of executing logistics and installation tasks in challenging terrains. Technical and financial bids must be submitted to the Sector Headquarters by the closing date of 11 May 2026."
