IESCO invites bids for the extension of the 132 kV Power Transformer Bay (T-3) at the 132 KV Grid Station in Kahuta City under the IESCO Multiyear Tariff framework. The estimated contract value is Rs. 7,600,457 inclusive of Pakistan Sales Tax. This is a works contract to be executed on a national competitive bidding basis using a single-stage, one-envelope procurement methodology. The project is located at Kahuta City Grid Station in the Federal Territory of Islamabad and forms part of IESCO's infrastructure expansion and maintenance program for electrical power distribution and transmission infrastructure.
Bidders must meet standard eligibility criteria for construction works contracts in Pakistan, typically including valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration in the relevant category, proof of financial capacity, and documented past experience with similar power sector or electrical infrastructure projects. A bid security declaration is required as part of the submission, and bidders must sign an Integrity Pact affirming compliance with anti-corruption norms. The contract will be subject to a performance guarantee requirement and a specified defect liability period as outlined in the Special Conditions of Contract.
