This is a one-time sealed-bid auction for experimental animals valued at approximately Rs.
503,400 at Layyah campus. The auction allows viewing in advance and requires 5% bid security plus 10-20% income tax deposit post-award. Key constraint: successful bidders must collect animals same-day, creating logistics urgency. This is standard disposal activity rather than procurement service contract. Tight submission window and provincial location suggest primarily local competition.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid CNIC and current income tax registration; vendors/firms/sole proprietors eligible. University employees and their family members are explicitly barred. Typically for government auctions, bidders should hold NTN and be in good tax standing. No specific business registration category mentioned; general tax compliance appears sufficient.
