For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

RMU is procuring furniture items on an itemized basis for its Old and New Teaching Block campuses.
This appears to be a regular departmental procurement under government budget allocation. The notice specifies single-stage two-envelope bidding with separate technical and financial evaluation. Bidders should note the strict requirement for FBR registration, active taxpayer status, and 2% bid security submission through a specified bank. The deadline is relatively near, and documentation requirements are extensive, suggesting a formal, compliance-heavy procurement process typical of government medical institutions.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and listed as active taxpayers. Valid income tax or sales tax certificates, professional tax certificates for FY 2026-2027, and evidence of financial soundness are mandatory. Manufacturers, distributors, general order suppliers, and importers (with sole agency proof for imported goods) are eligible. Bidders must not be under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices by RMU or PPRA. Typically, furniture suppliers should hold SECP or business registration.
