For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Rawalpindi Medical University is procuring machinery and equipment through a competitive e-bidding process for FY 2026-2027.
The notice does not itemise the equipment or provide an aggregate value, suggesting bidders must review detailed specifications in the downloadable documents. This is a government medical institution procurement, likely involving medical diagnostic or laboratory equipment. The single-stage two-envelope process favours technically qualified suppliers, and the 2% bid security requirement is standard. The September 2026 closing date suggests this is a planning notice issued well in advance.
Who can bid: Bidders must be FBR-registered manufacturers, distributors, general order suppliers, importers or sole agents of foreign principals. Evidence of active tax payer status, valid income tax and sales tax certificates, professional tax certification for 2026-2027, and financial soundness documentation is required. Bidders must not be under any debarment for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
