Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab, Small Dams Circle-II, Small Dams Division Talagang invites electronic bids for an estimate covering work charge and support staff services for the period 01 September 2026 to 31 January 2027. The estimated cost is Rs. 6,494,460 (Six Million Four Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Four Hundred Sixty only), with a completion timeframe of 124 days. The bid shall be submitted on contractor profit and overhead charges, with salaries of personnel on a non-competitive, rate basis under Government of the Punjab daily wages notified from time to time. This is a support services contract for the Small Dams Division located in Talagang, administered under the Potohar Zone of the Punjab Irrigation Department.
Eligible firms and contractors must be registered on the Punjab e-procurement system (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk) and hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for the financial year 2026-27. All intending bidders, whether individual firms, contractors, or joint ventures, must comply with these registration requirements. Bid security has been fixed at 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 324,723. Bidders must submit the original copy of the financial instrument—in the form of a Demand Draft, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee duly issued by a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan—before the bid submission deadline, in addition to the soft copy uploaded on the Punjab e-procurement system.
Bidding documents are available for download from the web portals https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ActiveTenders.aspx and https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-procurement system only, with submission deadline at 01:30 PM on 29 September 2026 and bid opening at 02:00 PM on the same date. The tender opening process will be conducted in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the office of the Project Director, Small Dams Circle-II, Jhelum.
