Description / Scope of Work
University of Technology, Nowshera invites sealed bids from well-established and reputed firms and contractors for the outsourcing of the university canteen on a rent basis for a period of one year, extendable and renewable subject to satisfactory performance and compliance with the terms and conditions of the university. The tender is issued under a Single Stage One Envelope Procedure. Bid documents along with detailed terms and conditions can be downloaded from the university website at https://uotnowshera.edu.pk or obtained from the office of the Procurement Officer at the university in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from Monday to Friday between 09:00 AM and 03:00 PM. A tender fee of Rs. 1000 (non-refundable) must be deposited in the designated university bank account before submission.
Prospective bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 22nd September 2026 at 11:00 AM in the University Conference Room for all interested bidders to clarify queries and understand the scope. Bidders are required to submit experience certificates and completion certificates from departments where they have previously worked; proposals without these certificates will not be entertained. A 2% Earnest Money Deposit in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt must accompany the bid, calculated on the total bid amount of one year's rent.
Sealed bids along with all supporting documents must reach the office of the Procurement Officer by 28th September 2026 at 01:30 PM. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 02:00 PM in the University Conference Room in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. All communications regarding the tender should be directed to the Procurement Officer at the University of Technology, Nowshera.
