Description / Scope of Work
Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Karachi, Sindh, invites sealed bids for the procurement of a closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system and related installation services for the Damarooz Iqbal Campus. The estimated cost is Rs 3,000,000 and the project scope includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CCTV equipment across the campus premises. This is a single-stage two-envelope procurement conducted under Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended to date). The reference number for this notice is NIT/OCTY/2026/09 and bidding documents are available on the SPPRA ePADS portal at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/ and on DUET's official website at www.duet.edu.pk.
Eligibility is restricted to firms registered under the Sales Tax Act, GST, NTN and SRB as per SPPRA Rule 48.1(a), which is mandatory. Bidders must obtain registration on the ePADS portal before submission. Bid security and non-refundable tender fee are required as per the bidding documents. A hard copy of all bidding documents along with the bid security (bank guarantee or demand draft) must be submitted to the Director (ICT) and Convener Procurement Committee at DUET, Karachi by the specified deadline.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the ePADS portal or obtained from DUET's website. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes on or before 29 September 2026 at 05:00 PM to the Procurement Section at DUET's office. Bids will be opened on 29 September 2026 at 03:30 PM at the office of the Director (ICT). Conditional and telegraphic bids, bids without bid security and non-refundable tender fee, and bids received after the deadline will be rejected. All terms and conditions are detailed in the bidding documents. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under the relevant SPP Rules 2010.
