Description / Scope of Work
Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST), located in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids through the E-PADS platform for two distinct procurement categories: supply of furniture and management and operation of canteens and shops at the main campus. The services are required to support approximately 10,000 on-campus students and will be procured for an initial period of two years, with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and mutually agreed terms and conditions. This is a single-stage, single-envelope bidding process open to eligible and registered suppliers and contractors.
Eligible bidders must be duly registered with Income Tax, Sales Tax, and FBR departments and financially sound. General Order Suppliers and Furniture Suppliers may bid for furniture procurement, while experienced contractors, firms, and operators registered with relevant authorities and the Food Authority are eligible for canteen and shop management contracts. Bid Security and Earnest Money amounts as specified in the bidding documents must be uploaded on E-PADS, with hard copies in sealed envelopes to reach the Secretary, University Purchase Committee (Procurement Cell) by the specified deadline.
Tender documents are available for purchase at a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 from the office of the Secretary, University Purchase Committee, or can be downloaded from www.kust.edu.pk. Payment must be made to HBL Account No. 03430000100001 or by bank draft or HBL bank receipt. Sealed bids and Earnest Money hard copies must be submitted to the Secretary UPC office by 11:00 am on October 13, 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:30 am the same day in the Senate Hall of KUST. The university reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any time.
