Description / Scope of Work
Habib Bank Limited (HBL) invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the auction of two Suzuki Alto vehicles. The auction concerns vehicle registration numbers BCJ-124 (2025 model) and AXX-352 (2021 model). Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked with both vehicle registration numbers and addressed to the Regional Collection Manager at HBL's consumer center on Hussain Agahi Road, Main Branch, Multan. The bank will receive bids prior to 22 September 2026 before close of office hours. Bids are invited on an "as is where is basis" and the successful bidder shall be responsible for payment of all taxes, transfer fees and related documentation.
All bids must be accompanied by earnest money via Demand Draft or Pay Order equal to ten percent of the bid amount in favor of HBL; unsuccessful pay orders will be refunded within ten days from the opening date. The said vehicles are available for inspection at the HBL warehouse on Old Bahawalpur Road near Irrigation Office on 21 September 2026 between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, with documentation details provided at inspection. The Auction Committee will open all offers on 23 September 2026 at HBL consumer center, first floor, Hussain Agahi Road, Main Branch, Multan.
The balance of the purchase price must be paid by the successful bidder within three working days from the date of acceptance; failure to pay will result in forfeiture of the ten percent bid security. HBL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason. For further information and details, prospective bidders may contact the Regional Collection Manager at telephone number 061-4570640.
For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
HBL is conducting a sealed-bid auction of two used Suzuki Alto vehicles in Multan—one 2025 model and one 2021 model.
The tender requires 10% earnest money upfront and allows only three working days for final payment after acceptance, a notably tight settlement window. Inspection is limited to a single four-hour slot on 21 September. This is a one-off liquidation auction rather than a service contract; competitive interest will likely depend on vehicle condition and reserve price expectations.
Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state eligibility criteria beyond requirement to submit bids with 10% earnest money via Demand Draft or Pay Order. Typically, sealed-bid auctions of bank-repossessed vehicles allow any individual or registered entity to participate; no specific business registration or PEC category appears required for vehicle purchase.
