Description / Scope of Work
Sports Board Punjab, an autonomous body established under the Youth Affairs & Sports Department of the Government of Punjab, invites expressions of interest from eligible individual consultants for engagement as a Legal Consultant on a short-term, full-time basis. The consultant will provide comprehensive legal assistance including drafting of rules and regulations under the newly promulgated Constitution of Sports Board Punjab (notified in the Punjab Gazette on 29 April 2025), preparing written statements, replies, reports and court submissions, drafting tender documents and bidding materials for public procurement matters, and tendering legal opinions and advice as referred by the Director General Sports & Youth Affairs or Secretary Sports Board Punjab. The position is based in Lahore at the National Hockey Stadium and requires full-time availability during official working hours.
Eligible applicants must possess minimum required qualifications and experience in legal practice as specified in the Terms of Reference attached to the Expression of Interest document. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with Rule 46 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2024. All applications must be submitted in sealed envelopes containing complete information and supporting documentation. Incomplete applications will be rejected without consideration.
Applications must be delivered to the Deputy Director (Administration), Sports Board Punjab, National Hockey Stadium, Ferozepur Road, Lahore by 5 October 2026 at 11:45 AM. The Expression of Interest documents will be opened on the same day at 12:15 PM in the presence of interested applicants. Telephonic, email or faxed applications will not be accepted.
