The General Headquarters Defence Works and Civil Engineering (DP) at Rawalpindi is inviting pre-qualification applications from firms and contractors for seven miscellaneous engineering works at HIT Taxila Cantt and PAC Kamra in Punjab. The scope includes pre-fabricated wall structures, roof repair, EV charger shed construction, electrical and mechanical work, and rehabilitation of office facilities and technical areas, with an approximate aggregate cost of 174.495 million rupees. Applications must be submitted by 05 October 2026 at HQ DW&CE GHQ Rawalpindi as per clauses 13, 15 and 16 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Eligible bidders must be enlisted with Pakistan Engineering Council in categories C-2, C-3, C-4 or C-5 in their relevant technical field with validity extending to June 2026, with preference for MES enlistment in categories A, B or C. Firms lacking MES registration must provide a 2% refundable bid security deposit. Applicants must furnish credentials including personnel details, bank statements, NTN certificates and income tax returns for the preceding three years, and should demonstrate prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical and plumbing works with satisfactory completion certificates from end-users. Pre-qualification with the Engineer-in-Chief's Branch is mandatory, and firms must have no outstanding deficiency inquiries or recoveries.
Tender documents will be issued to pre-qualified firms following their approval, with bids due at 1130 hours on 05 October 2026 and opening scheduled for 1200 hours the same day.
