This is a single-year insurance contract for staff advance balances with a bid security requirement of Rs.
100,000, indicating a medium-scale procurement. The 'A' rating requirement is strict and effectively narrows the field to established insurers. The closing date is 07-10-2026 with a pre-bid meeting on 01-10-2026, leaving minimal preparation time for competitive evaluation. For an insurance firm, this is a straightforward annual contract without apparent recurring renewal language, suggesting a one-time 2026-27 engagement unless renewed through separate tender.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold minimum 'A' rating for comprehensive insurance coverage, valid NTN, GST registration, and Active Taxpayer List status (FBR/CBR). Income tax or sales tax registration is mandatory. No blacklisted firms or those in government conflict may apply. Typically, insurance providers must also hold valid regulatory licensing from the relevant insurance authority in Pakistan.
