Road and Street Construction Works by Municipal Committee Talagang

Eligible bidders must be registered contractors on the E-PADS portal for the year 2026-27. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security calculated at 5% of the estimated cost for the respective work, to be submitted electronically through the E-P System by the closing date. As per Punjab Local Government Works Rules 2017, if the lowest bidder's rates are equal to or less than 5% below the estimated cost, the contractor must deposit an additional 10% performance security within 15 days of acceptance. All bids must be item-wise, clearly readable, complete and properly signed and stamped; incomplete, ambiguous or unfilled bids will be rejected outright.

Bidding documents can be downloaded free of cost from the E-P System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. Bids must be submitted electronically through the same portal by 11:00 AM on 8 October 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day at the Municipal Committee Talagang office. The bidding process follows the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as prescribed under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Upon award, the successful contractor must execute a formal agreement on government stamp paper within seven days of receiving the acceptance letter before the work order is issued.
