Description / Scope of Work
The Additional Inspector General of Police, South Punjab, Multan invites electronic bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for the purchase and provision of miscellaneous items and services under a Framework Contract for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement comprises nine lots with an estimated total value of 11.9 million Pakistani rupees, including stationery items, printing materials, computer stationery, computer toner cartridges, transport items and spare parts, vehicle tyres, batteries, filters, and lubricants. The scope covers goods required for the police office located near Fish Market, Doulat Gate in Multan, Punjab. This is an open competitive bidding process conducted lot-wise, with contract award to the single lowest evaluated bidder for each complete lot.
Eligible bidders must be firms, companies, general order suppliers, manufacturers, or authorized agents and dealers registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System and engaged in trading. Bidders must be registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, Punjab Sales Tax, and Professional Engineering Council where applicable. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost for each lot must be submitted in the form of a crossed cheque, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order issued by a Bank of Punjab before the e-bid submission deadline. Performance guarantee of 5 percent of the contract value in the form of a deposit at call is required upon acceptance of tenders.
Bidding documents are available for download without charge from the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk and the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Electronic bids comprising technical and financial components must be submitted online on the Punjab e-Procurement System by 11:00 AM on Thursday, 8 October 2026. Technical bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened on a subsequently announced date and time.
