Description / Scope of Work
DHQ Hospital Chiniot, operating under the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for a framework contract for day-to-day local purchase of medicines, dialysis items, and surgical/disposable items. The estimated contract value is rupees 40 million (with 15% LP at rupees 35 million) plus rupees 5 million from PBM and Zakat Funds, to be procured during the fiscal year 2026-27. This is a recurring framework contract to supply critical medical consumables to the hospital located in Chiniot district, Punjab. The procurement covers pharmaceutical products, dialysis consumables, and single-use surgical items necessary for ongoing hospital operations across multiple departments.
Bidders must be registered on the E-Procurement System Punjab (ePADS) as a mandatory prerequisite for participation. Bid security must be submitted at 2% of the estimated cost in the form of an original Cash Deposit Receipt (CDR) to the office of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Chiniot, on or before the closing date and time. The bidding process will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure as per Rule 38(2) of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). Bidders should ensure they meet all regulatory requirements under the Punjab Procurement Rules before submitting their bids.
Bidding documents may be downloaded free of cost from the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the E-Procurement System Punjab portal (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/). Electronic bids must be uploaded by 06-10-2026 at 12:00 PM on the ePADS system; late bids will not be entertained. Bid opening is scheduled for the same day at 12:30 PM on the E-Procurement System Punjab.
