Description / Scope of Work
Taluka Hospital K N Shah, operating under the Health Department Government of Sindh, invites sealed tenders for the procurement of petty miscellaneous items, generic consumable materials, and life-saving medical supplies including oxygen gas for the financial year 2026-27. The tender encompasses three categories: other petty items (1.02 million PKR), generic consumable items (2.042 million PKR), and oxygen gas and related life-saving medical supplies (1.4 million PKR), with a total estimated procurement value of approximately 4.462 million PKR. The procurement is being undertaken through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) framework under single-stage one-envelope bidding procedures as per amended SPPRA Rules 2010. Interested contractors, firms, suppliers, manufacturers, sole agents and distributors must meet defined eligibility criteria including valid federal and provincial tax registrations and clean procurement history.
Eligibility requirements stipulate that bidders must possess current registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for income tax and sales tax purposes in the case of goods procurement, registration with Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) where applicable, and must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency or authority. Tender participation requires submission of a non-refundable tender fee of 2,500 PKR. Bidders are required to submit earnest money of 2 percent in the form of pay order, demand draft, or bank guarantee payable to the Medical Superintendent Taluka Hospital K N Shah. All bids must be denominated in Pakistani Rupees and submitted in sealed envelopes on the prescribed proforma.
Tender documents are available for purchase from the office of the Medical Superintendent, Taluka Hospital K N Shah, from the date of publication and via the SPPRA website EPAD System. Bids must be deposited at the Medical Superintendent's office on or before 13 October 2026 at 12:00 noon. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same date at 12:30 PM in the presence of contractors or their representatives. Bid validity is 90 days from the tender opening date. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to bid acceptance under Rule 25 of SPPRA Rules.
