Heavy Industries Taxila (ARDIC) invites sealed bids from eligible firms for the development of Engine O/H Kit through a single-stage two-envelope bidding method. The project scope involves 18 months of development work after contract signing, with delivery expected within this timeframe. This is a specialized development contract issued under PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules, positioned at ARDIC's Taxila Cantt facility in Punjab province. The tender seeks firms with demonstrable experience and financial capacity to undertake advanced technical development work in accordance with government procurement standards.
Bidders must possess current NTN (National Tax Number) certificates and be registered with the Sales Tax Department. Eligible firms should have documented experience with government or semi-government organizations over the past three financial years, supported by audit reports showing annual turnover and working capital. A certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 100, duly attested by an Oath Commissioner, must confirm that the firm is neither a defaulter nor blacklisted by any government organization. Bidders are required to submit a postal order of Rs 2,000 as bid security. Trade links with OEMs must be demonstrated in case of distributor or agent applications. All bidders must submit an authority letter and a duly signed Non-Disclosure Agreement before accessing technical specifications and detailed requirements.
Bid documents are available for collection at the ARDIC Gate on any working day before the deadline. Bids must be submitted by 26 October 2026 at 1030 hours, either by post to the Deputy Assistant Director (Development), ARDIC, or by hand in the tender box at ARDIC Gate. Technical bid opening will occur at 1100 hours on the same date at the Advanced Research Development and Innovation Center.
