Description / Scope of Work
The Project Management Unit of the Balochistan Education Support Program in Quetta, Balochistan invites expressions of interest from qualified consulting firms to develop a comprehensive Student Transport Strategy and district-level route plan. This initiative is part of the Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services in Balochistan (GRADES-B) project, which is funded by a 100 million Dollar credit from the World Bank. The primary objective is to enhance student enrollment and access by pilot-testing transport solutions across ten selected districts in the province. Eligible firms must demonstrate at least ten years of experience in transport planning or rural mobility and have a proven track record of designing safe mobility interventions, preferably within child-focused or social sector frameworks. The selection process will follow the World Bank's Consultant Qualification Selection (CQS) method. Interested consultants are required to provide documentation of their technical expertise, personnel availability, and experience in safety safeguarding. Detailed expressions of interest must be submitted in writing or electronically to the PMU-BESP office by 13 May 2026.
