Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi Division invites bids for nine civil and electrical works packages valued between Rs 710,055 and Rs 20,797,961. The works comprise special repairs to the boundary wall of Loco Shed Rawalpindi, painting of Major Bridge No. 44 on the Rawalpindi-Golra Section, procurement of paint materials for bridges on Golra-Bosal Section and platform shelter at Tarnol Railway Station, special repair group works for quarters and sewerage systems under the Inspector of Works sections, laying water supply pipelines, termite proofing at Railway Rest House Islamabad, and provision of new tubewells at Loco colony and Traffic Loco colony Rawalpindi. Completion periods range from one to three months. The tender is issued on the basis of Pakistan Railway Composite Schedule of Rates 2016 (Rawalpindi Division) and Through Rates basis.
Bidders must be approved contractors of Pakistan Railways or other Government Departments, registered with Pakistan Engineering Council with relevant code of specialization for civil and electrical works, and must be on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Bid security amounts are specified for each work, ranging from Rs 35,503 to Rs 415,959. All bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 in single stage-two envelope format as per PPRA Rules. Supporting documents including copies of CNIC, valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration license, and original bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt or Bank Guarantee in favour of the Divisional Accounts Officer are required.
Bidding documents are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal at http://epads.gov.pk with individual links for each tender number (P124057, P129508, P129304, P128095, P131059, P130666, P130528, P130396, P130267). Electronic bids with prescribed supporting documents and scanned copies of bid security must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 12, 2026 at 12:00 PM to the office of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi. Original bid documents in sealed envelopes must accompany the e-submission. Bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of firm representatives. The Railway administration reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance.
