For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NUST Balochistan Campus is procuring bus tyres for operational fleet maintenance—a steady-state consumables buy rather than infrastructure project.
Scale appears medium (institutional fleet, not mass transit). Notable: e-bidding mandatory via EPADS v2.0; LCBS methodology favors price over technical merit, suggesting commodity-grade specifications; long timeline (2026) may indicate budget year planning rather than urgent need. Bidders should verify tyre specifications on EPADS portal before committing.
Who can bid: Registration on EPADS v2.0 platform is mandatory. Typically, tyre suppliers require PEC Category-G (or equivalent trade license), valid NTN, SECP registration, and sales tax compliance. No explicit restrictions stated; however, NUST (federal entity) may require prior vendor registration or performance history. Confirm with procurement office.
