The Karachi Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed tenders for a comprehensive overhauling of its networking infrastructure. This major project, identified by reference number KIBGE/001/2026, involves the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a fiber optic core network with segregation across data, WiFi, and voice systems. The scope includes approximately 2,500 feet of redundant 4-core single-mode fiber optic backbone and nearly 16,700 feet of CAT6 UTP cabling. Active equipment requirements feature multiple 24-port and 16-port managed PoE switches, twelve WiFi 6 routers, and a centralized power solution including server racks and PDUs. Eligible active taxpayers registered with relevant authorities and SPPRA EPADS must submit technical and financial proposals. A bid security of 2 percent of the total cost is mandatory in the form of a pay order. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the SPPRA portal, and final submissions must be processed through the EPADS system by 2:30 PM on May 14, 2026.
