The works include rehabilitation and protection of transmission line tower foundations at Rahim Yar Khan and Muzaffar Garh, road carpeting for a residential colony at Burewala (Azeemabad), renovation and repair of MEPCO sub-division offices at Fortabbas and Faqir Wali, renovation of dispensary and grid station control houses, boundary wall rehabilitation and reconstruction at multiple locations (Mianwali Qureshi, Sahiwal), and repair of complaint centres and residential quarters. Total project values range from Rs 786,728 to Rs 3,873,904, with completion periods between 30 to 60 days. Works are distributed across multiple locations in Punjab province.

Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Islamabad under category CE-10 (Civil) with valid registration certificate, possess active revenue authority registration with Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), and maintain active income tax registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Bid security is required in original form as a fixed amount per tender (ranging from Rs 23,602 to Rs 116,217) in the shape of an Original Deposit-at-Call, Bank Draft, or Pay Order issued by any scheduled bank of Pakistan, payable to the Executive Engineer (Civil) MEPCO Multan. Security must be submitted in a separately marked envelope before the e-bid submission deadline.

For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

MEPCO is bundling ten geographically dispersed civil works into one tender: foundation rehabilitation for transmission towers, road carpeting, and building/facility renovations across Punjab.

Individual contract values are modest (Rs 0.79–3.87M), but collectively this signals MEPCO's systematic infrastructure refresh. Tight 30–60 day completion windows suggest routine maintenance rather than complex new construction—suitable for experienced local contractors with proven execution speed. The percentage-rate basis and multi-location spread indicate low-complexity, repeateable work; winning one contract may lead to others.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold active PEC (CE-10 Civil) registration, PRA revenue authority registration, and FBR income tax registration. Non-registration or lapsed credentials will disqualify. Foreign firms typically require PEC reciprocal recognition. Sole proprietors and partnerships eligible if registered; joint ventures typically require prior coordination.
