Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kot Addu invites electronic bids for a framework contract covering the procurement of laboratory reagents, chemicals, medical devices and laboratory consumables for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is divided into seven lots with a combined estimated budget of PKR 18,250,000, covering diagnostic screening tests and test strips (PKR 7.5 million), blood specimen collection tubes and vials (PKR 1.5 million), laboratory reagents and quality control materials (PKR 1.5 million), laboratory consumables and disposables (PKR 500,000), small laboratory equipment and accessories (PKR 250,000), chemistry analyzer on reagent rental basis (PKR 4.5 million), and complete blood count analyzer on reagent rental basis (PKR 2.5 million). The procurement is being conducted in Punjab under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (Amended) through open competitive bidding using a single-stage, two-envelope procedure.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System and include manufacturers, importers, authorized distributors and suppliers engaged in the supply of laboratory items. Bidders must demonstrate documented experience of supplying laboratory items to at least one hospital with a minimum capacity of 150 beds. Bid security equivalent to 2.0 percent of the estimated procurement value for each lot must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System; no physical financial instruments such as call deposit receipts, pay orders or bank guarantees will be accepted. Bidders must provide valid NTN and sales tax registration certificates, and taxes and stamp duty will be deducted as per applicable government rules.
Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System portal and the PPRA website at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/view/Tender.aspx. Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk) by 16th October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bids opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Kot Addu. If the submission date falls on a public holiday, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
