Description / Scope of Work

The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of battery banks for MSAG (Mobile Switching and Gateway) sites located in the Islamabad and Rawalpindi directorates. This procurement is planned under the FY 2026-27 budget allocation and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using a single-stage, one-envelope bidding process with least-cost-based selection technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procurement reference is P145377.

Eligible bidders must submit bids accompanied by bid security in the form of a pay order, bank guarantee, demand draft, or a bid securing declaration in the format specified in the bidding documents. E-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications and technical requirements are available on the EPADS portal for all registered bidders. Bidders are required to register on EPADS v2.0 to participate in this procurement process.

E-bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 AM. The complete bidding documents are accessible at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/145377. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

NTC seeks battery bank supplies for telecom switching infrastructure across Islamabad–Rawalpindi, likely a medium-scale procurement tied to network resilience.

Single-stage e-bidding with least-cost selection suggests commodity-grade competition; tight October 2026 closure implies budgeted FY26-27 spend. No recurring language detected, but MSAG sites typically require ongoing maintenance, signalling potential repeat business if quality delivered.

Who can bid: EPADS registration mandatory. Bid security required (pay order, bank guarantee, demand draft, or declaration per bidding documents). Typically, bidders need NTN/active SECP registration and relevant PEC category or supplier accreditation. Notice does not restrict to PEC members; manufacturer or authorised distributor status likely favoured for telecom-grade batteries.
