For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a one-off auction for a college canteen and book shop operation serving approximately 1925 total users (students and staff).
The base price of 200,000 rupees is modest; successful bidders must secure liquidity quickly and be tax-registered. Key constraint: the contract runs until June 2027 with possible two-year extension, making this a medium-term commitment requiring operational stability and compliance with Punjab Food Authority standards and strict hygiene regulations. Notably, income tax at 10 percent of the quoted bid value becomes a contractual obligation for the winning bidder.
Who can bid: Bidders must be income tax active taxpayers. The notice requires submission of income tax certificate and other documents specified in bidding documents. Typically, canteen contracts in Pakistani government institutions also require registration with SECP or equivalent proof of business entity status, though not explicitly stated here; bidders should verify with the college directly.
