Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highways Department in Faisalabad, Punjab invites sealed tenders for two major road restoration and repair schemes through the PPRA E-Tendering System. The first project involves the restoration of Kashmir Road, stretching from West Canal Road to Sangla Hill Faisalabad Road with a length of 1.60 KM and an estimated cost of 78.47 million Rupees. The second scheme focuses on the restoration of the carpet road from Sahil Hospital towards Nishatabad Bridge on Main Sheikhupura Road, covering a length of 2.24 KM with an estimated cost of 92.40 million Rupees. Both projects require technical excellence, including the use of concrete batching plants and paving machines for rigid pavement and mechanized systems for surfacing work. Interested engineering firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council with a valid license for the 2025-26 financial year. Bidders are required to submit a 5 percent bid security in the form of a CDR. All electronic bids and original physical CDRs must be submitted by 10:30 AM on 14 May 2026, with the official opening scheduled for 11:00 AM the same day at the Commissioner Office in Faisalabad. Completion for both schemes is strictly set for 30 June 2026.
