For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

Pakistan Railways seeks specialized repairs across four separate railway bridges in Punjab totaling Rs.

21.3M with a 3-month completion window. Work spans multiple sections (Lalamusa-Rawalpindi, Sargodha-Malakwal, Malakwal-Sargodha) with varying span dimensions, suggesting moderate structural complexity rather than routine maintenance. Pricing is constrained to RCSR-2016 rates, limiting margin flexibility. The distributed geographic scope across four sites may increase mobilization costs and site coordination burden for the contractor.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold PEC registration category C-6 or above with civil works specialization, or be approved by Government Departments. FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL) registration and Income Tax Department registration mandatory. Typically, NTN and SECP registration also required for corporate entities, though not explicitly stated here.
