Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government & Rural Development Department in Muzaffarabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids for the construction and retrofitting of bridges in AJ&K under a project funded by the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Specifically identified as Lot-2, this work involves the construction of five bridges within District Muzaffarabad with an estimated project value of approximately 258.547 million Rupees. This procurement follows a single stage two envelope procedure where interested firms must submit separate technical and financial proposals. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C2 or above with specific specialization codes including CE-02. Additionally, bidders must be on the active taxpayer list of the FBR or AJK CBR and provide an affidavit confirming they are not blacklisted. A bid security of 7.756 million Rupees is required in the form of a CDR or bank draft. Detailed bidding documents can be obtained for a fee of 5,000 Rupees until 12 May 2026.
