Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Corporation Sialkot invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the rehabilitation and repair of Rodas Road in Sialkot, Punjab, for the financial year 2026–27. The estimated cost of the project is 20.00 million rupees, with a CDR amount of 1.00 million rupees. The procurement is conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). All bidding documents, including terms and conditions, specifications, eligibility criteria, and other requirements, are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System and the PPRA Punjab website from the date of publication of this notice. Contractors and firms must be duly affiliated or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026–27 to participate.
Eligible bidders must submit a bid security of five percent of the estimated cost only through a digital bank guarantee (e) via SWIFT MT760 using the PSID generated from the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical bid securities are not accepted. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance security of five percent of the contract price through SWIFT MT760 in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules. Only electronic bids submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System will be accepted; manual, emailed, posted, couriered, hand-delivered, incomplete, corrupt, unsealed, virus-infected, or improperly filled financial bids are rejected.
Bids shall be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System on or before 17 August 2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened electronically on the same day at 1:30 PM in the office of the issuing authority. Bids remain valid for sixty days from the date of opening. The tender documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System and the PPRA Punjab website. Bidders must verify all credentials, registrations, experience, and documents before submission. All prevailing government of Punjab laws, notifications, circulars, and the Punjab Procurement Rules shall apply.
