Description / Scope of Work
The Rawalpindi Development Authority in Rawalpindi, Punjab invites sealed bids from eligible firms for the restoration of a significant road cut at Rashid Minhas Road. This civil works project is necessitated by the recent laying of a 10 inch diameter gas pipeline by SNGPL extending from the CNG station near House Building Finance Corporation to Katchery Chowk. The scope of work involves comprehensive restoration activities including earthwork excavation in open cutting for drains and roads, disposal of surplus material within an 8-mile lead, and the provision of a high-quality local sand cushion compacted in 6-inch layers. Structural components include plain cement concrete work in ratios of 1:4:8 and 1:2:4, topped with 80mm thick heavy-duty Tuff Pavers rated at 7000 PSI with sand grouting. The estimated project cost is approximately 2.7 million Rupees with a completion timeline of three months. Interested bidders must be registered with the PEC in category C-6 or above for the 2025-2026 financial year and must submit their technical and financial proposals electronically via the EPADS portal by 12:00 PM on 14 May 2026.
