Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Sports Board, Islamabad, invites pre-qualification applications from experienced travel agencies for provision of air tickets under an Open Framework Agreement of up to two years as per Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procuring agency anticipates procurement of approximately two to three hundred air tickets annually for trainers and officers of PSB, with tickets procured on a case-to-case basis and invoiced separately. Pre-qualified agencies will operate at the federal level from Islamabad and supply services as required by the board.
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and maintain active status on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayers List (ATL). A minimum total business turnover of PKR 50,000,000 or above, calculated as total certified payments received as an air travel services provider for contracts completed within the last five years, is mandatory. Pre-qualified firms are required to submit a Security Deposit of PKR 1,000,000 in the form of a CDR or pay order in favor of the Director General, Pakistan Sports Board; failure to do so renders the firm non-prequalified. The security will be released within 30 days after expiry of the pre-qualification period. Cash, cheques, or lesser amounts will not be accepted.
Pre-qualification bidding documents containing detailed descriptions of services, terms and conditions are available upon written request accompanied by an NTN registration certificate. Tender documents can be downloaded from PSB and PPRA websites at www.sports.gov.pk and www.ppra.org.pk, with submission through ePADS. A pre-bid meeting will be held two days before tender opening at 1030 hours in the PSB Committee Room, Islamabad, with authorized bidder representatives invited to attend. Bids must be uploaded through ePADS before the deadline at 1030 am on the tender opening day and will be opened the same day at 1100 am through ePADS at PSB, Islamabad.
