Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Executive Engineer, Education Works Division in Thatta, Sindh invites sealed bids for the high-priority construction of a Digital Library located at Makli. This significant infrastructure project is categorized as a Large Works contract with an estimated value exceeding 50 million Rupees. The procurement encompasses the full structural development and finishing of the digital library facility to enhance educational resources in the region. Bidders must be duly registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category and discipline, as well as with the relevant federal and provincial tax authorities. A bid security of approximately 1.783 million Rupees is required to be submitted with the proposal. All technical and financial bids must be prepared in accordance with the SPPRA bidding documents and submitted to the Executive Engineer office no later than 9:30 AM on 15 May 2026. The project includes provisions for mobilization advances and price adjustments for essential construction materials such as steel and cement to ensure smooth execution.
