Description / Scope of Work
The University of Karachi in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed bids for the construction of an additional or new room at House No. C-34. This project involves comprehensive civil, electrical, and plumbing works to meet the functional needs of the university's housing infrastructure. The scope includes dismantling existing structures, excavation, termite proofing, RCC and block masonry, tile fixing, and full interior finishing. Electrical components involve the installation of light fittings, fans, and circuit wiring, while plumbing covers sanitary drainage, CPVC piping, and the installation of local brand bathroom fixtures. Eligible firms must be registered with the Sales Tax, Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), and NTN authorities. Furthermore, bidders are required to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-6 with CE08 specialization and demonstrate a minimum annual turnover of 10 million Rupees over the last three years. Bids must be submitted electronically via the EPADS portal with a 2 percent bid security no later than 11:00 AM on 21 May 2026.
