The Home Department in Karachi, Sindh invites electronic bids for the armoring of two Toyota Coaster vehicles to B6 protection level. This specialized security project involves comprehensive armoring of the passenger cabin, roof, and floor with 6.5mm laser-cut ballistic steel and 6mm blast steel to provide protection against 7.62 x 51 NATO ball ammunition and improvised explosive devices. The scope includes the installation of BR6 certified ballistic glass with multiple impact protection, reinforced door hinges, run-flat tire inserts, and heavy-duty suspension upgrades. Interested firms must be registered with the FBR with an active income tax status and operative sales tax status. Bidding is conducted through a single-stage, one-envelope procedure via the SPPRA EPADS portal. All submissions must include a fixed bid security of 2 million Rupees. The deadline for electronic bid submission is 2:30 PM on 18 May 2026, with the opening scheduled for 3:00 PM the same day at the Tughlaq House committee room.
