Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highway Department in Bahawalnagar, Punjab invites sealed bids for major road infrastructure projects under the Annual Development Program 2025-26. This significant provincial undertaking involves the reconstruction, widening, and rehabilitation of critical transport links, specifically focusing on the road network from Chishtian to Shehar Farid, Manghair Sharif, and Adda Sadiq Pur, as well as the route from Pansota Chowk to Main Daharanwala. The project scope covers a combined length of over 50 kilometers of roadway across two primary contracts. The total estimated investment for these infrastructure improvements is approximately 3,027 million Rupees. Eligible contractors must be pre-qualified with the Communication and Works Department and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for the current year. Bidding documents require a 2 percent earnest money deposit in the form of a call deposit. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted according to the prescribed departmental rules to the office of the Executive Engineer Highway Division Bahawalnagar by the specified deadline.
