The Inspectorate General of Prisons in Muzaffarabad, Federal Government invites sealed tenders for the supply of various food and ration items for prisoners confined in several jails across Azad Jammu & Kashmir for the financial year 2026-2027. This procurement includes essential supplies for Central Jail Muzaffarabad, Central Jail Mirpur, and District Jails in Kotli, Rawalakot, Bagh, and Bhimber. The scope of work involves providing high-quality dry rations, fresh vegetables, and meat products meeting hygiene standards as specified in the bidding documents. Eligible suppliers and general order providers must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and maintain an active taxpayer status. Bids must be accompanied by a call deposit ranging from 10,000 to 1,369,000 Rupees depending on the specific jail location. Interested parties can obtain tender documents from the respective jail offices during working hours. Sealed technical and financial proposals must be submitted to the Office Chamber of the concerned Deputy Commissioner no later than 10:30 AM on 25 May 2026, with the public opening scheduled for 11:00 AM on the same day.
